Terms and conditions
Last updated: [launch date]
1. Who I am
These terms apply to all sessions and programs of G.I.N.A. Global Innovation for New Awareness, trading under the names G.I.N.A. Global Innovation for New Awareness and Hypno-Matters, KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) 99992515.
2. Intro call
The intro call takes about 30 minutes, is complimentary and does not commit you to anything.
3. Sessions and programs
A program consists of an intake and the agreed number of sessions. Sessions are online, unless we agree otherwise. A focused program (3 sessions) runs for a maximum of 3 months, an in-depth program (6 sessions) for a maximum of 6 months. Unused sessions expire after that.
4. Rates and payment
We discuss the investment for a program or session in advance during the intro call, and I confirm it to you in writing. All rates for individuals include VAT. Business rates exclude VAT. You pay within 14 days of the invoice date. A single session is fully credited if you book a program within two weeks after it.
5. Rescheduling and canceling
You can reschedule or cancel an appointment free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later or don't show up, I will charge for the session. In a program, the session then counts as used.
6. Confidentiality
Everything you share in a session stays confidential. If your employer pays, they will only be told whether the sessions took place, never what was discussed.
7. Personal responsibility
Hypnosis is not a replacement for medical or psychological care. If you have medical or mental health concerns, your primary care doctor remains your first point of contact. Let me know if you take medication or are receiving treatment. Results vary from person to person; I cannot guarantee any result.
8. Liability
My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the session or program concerned.
9. Complaints and disputes
Not satisfied with something? Let me know at info@ginarumawas.com. I'll respond within two weeks and we'll look for a solution together.
If we can't resolve it together, you can submit your complaint to an independent complaints officer through the CAT (Collectief Alternatieve Therapeuten, the Dutch collective of alternative therapists), of which I am a member. If the complaint still can't be resolved after that, you can submit the dispute to the GAT (Geschilleninstantie Alternatieve Therapeuten, the disputes committee). A decision by the GAT is binding. This is arranged in accordance with the Wkkgz (the Dutch Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act).
10. Online sessions
For online sessions, you make sure you have a quiet place, a stable internet connection and headphones. If the connection drops because of a technical problem on my end, we reschedule the remaining part free of charge.
11. Changes
I may change these terms. The version that applied when you booked your program or session remains applicable to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. This is an English translation; in the event of any difference between this version and the Dutch version, the Dutch version prevails.
